I need to either:
1. Attend a meetup
2. Find someone on my level who might go though a course and we'll share our experiences
3. Get a mentor.
The first option fills most people with that first day in school sense of dread. Social awkwardness never really goes away, especially when you feel imposter syndrome. Another phrase I have leant from code newbie.
The second I like the idea of but can't find anything in my area. Still searching for an online resource that is a bit like the forums in codecademy but also force a timeline on completion by telling others that I will get it done by x date. A bit like an online book club.
3. The third option is arguably the best for progressing but the most expensive as well. https://www.codementor.io/ and other services provide this in a structured and unstructured way.
Leaning towards 3 but will do one of the 3 by the end of January.
